Today I was sent an e-mail from a friend. I thought it was quite funny.

It was entitled “I am leaving”
Dear All
I have made a spur of the moment decision; I have decided it is time for me to change direction with my life and I am becoming a Red Cross volunteer.
In mid September, I will head off on a training course and will be stationed just off the coast of Iraq.
Attached is a picture of the rest of my group. I know it’s a bit unexpected but I’ll keep in touch.
