I was sat watching the STV 6 o’clock news the other evening when a story came on about a Glasgow Doctor who records his cycling trips to and from his work using a helmetcam……I then decided to learn more about the vigilante “road safety” guy, so I looked him up on Google to see what I could find. He has a whole host of videos on YouTube under the name Magnatom which show us people in the West End of Glasgow driving badly……Or does it?

Half of the time someone makes an error and he chases them or shouts or gestures to them, one clip even sees him screaming at an elderly pedestrian who obviously did not see him coming as she was trying to cross. He is also heard shouting out the taxi numbers or registration plate numbers of the offending vehicles so as to log them on the voice recordings.

On the STV interview he said

“I am certainly not trying to antagonise people, I am just trying to convey the message that all road users should be equal and there should be mutual respect on the roads”

Really!!

The doc is one of those really annoying people who is constantly telling people that he has filmed them and that they will appear on youtube whilst trying to argue with them and asking stupid questions like ” Have you ever read Cyclecraft?”

Anyway! enough of my ranting, on my travels I have come across a website that is dedicated to the stupid man and basically just takes the piss right out of him.
