I’m Booking My Holidays In Langkawi – Malaysia

Langkawi Island MalaysiaOver the last few days I have spent most of my time researching holiday destinations in exotic locations. My final short-list was:
Thailand, Malaysia, Cuba and Mexico. Although Cuba was an uncertain choice due to the comings and goings of the people in charge there, I finally, after days of looking at pictures of white beaches, gorgeous blue seas and little beach chalets I decided that Malaysia was where I would be going on holiday this year.

Where exactly in Malaysia I wasn’t so sure, So once again I scouted through hundreds of websites and pictures of holiday destinations in Malaysia….and then I found it…..The Berjaya Beach Resort and Spa Langkawi in the north of Malaysia.

Now that I have discovered my holiday destination I now have to get there. Unfortunately my husband Is not the type of person who takes the easy option and heads to the nearest travel agents and books a holiday….Not at all…..I am now searching for Emirates Airlines for flights to take us to Kuala Lumpur, then I have to look for a hotel in Kuala Lumpur to stay in for one night, then I am going to search Tiger Airlines, Air Asia and Malaysia Airlines to get a flight to Langkawi Airport. Then the same for the return journey ten days later.

I am quite sure that the travel agent could have done this for us in much less time (and probably for a lot more money!!) Unfortunately, although this is my better half’s preferred way of booking a holiday…I do seem to have done all the work so far. By the time I get there I think that I will be in need of it.

You forgot to do a follow up saying how much fun you actually had booking the trip and how rewarding it felt as you glided through KL international airport…

You’ll never step foot inside a travel agents again haha!!!

And lastly, how much did your friend pay for her holiday to Phuket? Double? I rest my case ;-)
