Plymouth Argyle Goalie Charged With Causing Death By Dangerous Driving

Plymouth Argyle Goalie Charged With Causing Death By Dangerous DrivingPlymouth Argyle goalkeeper Luke McCormick has been charged on two counts of causing death by dangerous driving, one count of driving whilst under the influence of alcohol and one count of driving without insurance. What is with footballers who have everything then just think they are above the law by doing something something illegal? Luke McCormick was driving a black Range Rover Sport on the M6 near Keele services at approximately 5.45 am when the collision happened.

The Toyota People Carrier was carrying Aron and Ben Peak, aged 10 and 8 and their Dad plus another male passenger was travelling from Manchester to Silverstone for a day out. According to the police press conference which was just live on sky they were hit from behind and careered down an embankment. The two young boys died whilst their Dad is in hospital with injuries to his back, neck and lungs.

Earlier this year the Luke McCormick launched a road safety campaign with Plymouth police….It obviously made absolutely no difference to him..Did it??

I really feel for the boys mum, not only has she lost the two most precious people in her life, she now has to try and be strong and help her husband recover. Their life has been turned upside down and will never be the same again all because of one person. It’s such a shame, but unfortunately it is something that happens a lot and will keep on happening while ever there are stupid people who insist on driving after they have a drink!
