Is This Finally The End Of Oasis?
After 18 long years the Manchester band Oasis have allegedly finally split. Thank god for that.
I am not saying that the boys are not talented and Noel is a great songwriter, but Liam is nothing but a moron (to say the least). After years of fighting and name calling which at times, has interfered with gigs and left fans disappointed with late starts and one of the brothers walking off stage. Fans in Paris were disappointed when they cancelled following a bust-up on Friday. I think it is high time that they finally call it quits.
In thier careers they have collected fifteen NME awards, five BRIT Awards, nine Q Awards and four MTV Europe Music Awards.
In a statement Noel said: “I feel you have the right to know that the level of verbal and violent intimidation towards me, my family, friends and comrades has become intolerable. And the lack of support and understanding from my management and bandmates has left me with no other option than to get me cape and seek pastures new.”
He went on to say the rock group’s success had been a “dream come true”, adding: “I take with me glorious memories.”
