With all the talk of Euro 2008 even the pigs are turning to football. They don’t half look cute though! I love pigs.

The Shar Pei is a breed of dog known for it’s distinctive features of deep wrinkles and a blue-black tongue. The breed is originally from China. Unfortunately, once they are fully grown their wrinkles disappear due to the fact that they “grow into their skin” Shar Pei were once named as one of the world’s rarest dog breeds by Time magazine and the Guinness Book of World Records, and the American Kennel Club did not recognize the breed until 1991.
Here is a collection of very cute pics of a Sharpei pup sleeping on a towel. Its hard to figure out where the towel ends and the pup begins. (more…)
The Smallest Pigs In The World!
Here are a collection of very cute pictures of Dogs and tiny puppies. My Rottweiler is six years old now and to be honest I do not believe that he was ever as small as the one picture below.

Here are a few pictures taken after the animal transporter overturned and over 100 pigs escaped. Quite a job for the local fire brigade who had to round them all up!
Meet Smithfield, The 10 year old pig who has just undergone 19 rounds of radiation therapy to reduce his cancer and hopefully give him 4 more years.
Smithfield can be stubborn and mischievous. But he’s also an excellent student. In addition to having learned how to paint, he can sit, shake and turn around like a dog. He can also Kiss and stick his tongue out with a quick grin.

This is Heart-Kun, He is a three month old Chihuahua. The pictures were taken when he was just 6 weeks old. He was born on the 18th of May 2007 and was only one of a litter.
He currently lives at the Pucchin Dog Shop in Odate, northern Japan since the 10th of July. The dog shop owner, Emiko Sakurada has no intention of selling Heart-Kun.
And I am not surprised, could you? He even has a matching heart blanket!

Sunday is here again, it seems to come around so fast.
This week my “top 5 favourite” features my favourite animals.
Although I don’t particularly like cats, I do love most animals. As Usual it was really quite difficult to work a huge list of animals into a tiny list of 5, but I think I have finally managed it:
1. Pigs (obviously)
2. Dogs
3. Tigers
4. Chimpanzee
5. Horses
